Embracing Personal Growth: My Journey to Prioritize Health and Mental Well-being

As I sit down to write this, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement and determination coursing through my veins. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life, one where I wholeheartedly commit to prioritizing my health and mental well-being. It's April 1, 2024 y'all, and I've decided to embark on a transformative journey that I'm calling my Personal Growth Challenge with a twist – I'm embracing the principles of 75 Medium.


You might have heard of the popular 75 Hard challenge, which has taken the world by storm with its emphasis on mental toughness, discipline, and physical fitness. However, as much as I admire the dedication it requires, I've realized that a more balanced approach resonates with me. That's where 75 Medium comes in.


So, what exactly is 75 Medium? Unlike its counterparts, 75 Medium places a strong emphasis on holistic personal growth. It's not just about physical fitness or mental toughness – it's about nurturing every aspect of your being, from your physical health to your mental clarity and spiritual well-being. Mine will have twists and turns and yes I may falter some, but my intention is to not stop, but keep going.


The "75" in 75 Medium stands for the 75 days of commitment to daily practices that promote growth and self-improvement. These practices can vary from person to person but typically include activities like exercise, reading, journaling, meditation, and creative expression. The key is consistency and intentionality in dedicating time each day to these pursuits.


But why "Medium"? Unlike the stringent rules of 75 Hard, 75 Medium allows for flexibility and adaptability. It acknowledges that life is not always black and white – sometimes, we need to listen to our bodies and minds and adjust our routines accordingly. This flexibility doesn't detract from the challenge; rather, it enhances it by encouraging self-awareness and self-compassion.


For me, 75 Medium represents a perfect balance between ambition and self-care. It's about pushing myself to grow and evolve while also honoring my limits and prioritizing my well-being. It's a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, one that I'm excited to embark on wholeheartedly.


Central to my 75 Medium journey is a renewed commitment to my physical and mental health. I'm embracing a holistic approach to wellness, incorporating regular exercise, nourishing foods, and mindfulness practices into my daily routine. But I'm also making space for rest, reflection, and creativity – recognizing that true growth comes from a place of balance and harmony.


As I embark on this Personal Growth Challenge with 75 Medium, I'm filled with a sense of anticipation and possibility. I know that the road ahead won't always be easy, but I'm ready to embrace the challenges and celebrate the victories along the way.
